Garmin C340

After trying 5 different manufacturers units, I decided on the Garmin C340 for one main reason; I drive truck for a living and it was the only one that had some type of truck filter that at least kept me out of residential areas. Overall, the unit worked well for the first year then it died shortly after the warranty expired.

Another quirk of the unit is that it would say "a better route is available" over and over but gave me no options to take the better route. I talked to tech support and a button was supposed to pop up on the screen to give you the other routing but it never did. A friend of mine has the same unit and it does the same thing. Irritating to say the least. Would I buy another Garmin? No.

Tech support is nearly impossible to get to by phone and the unit doesn't work as it's supposed to or last long enough for the money I paid to own it.
