Garmin Nuvi 350

I recently purchased a Garmin Nuvi 350. I wanted it for extensive travel in the US and to be able to add a map of Australia (where we are heading next).
The system works phenomenally in the US with easy and intuitive controls and instructions. I only made one mistake which was setting the wrong destination from the points of interest. Other than that, it's great and I love the fact that it's really easy to hand-carry - small and light.
I've yet to see how the map (quite expensive) for Australia works and will perhaps update when I get there. Garmin's customer support seems to be great too. My only complaint is that I purchased from Walmart store and it was US$ 75 less online. I queried Walmart and they didn't seem interested. The unit is so good that I never bothered to pursue it. If you purchase from Walmart (cheapest that I found), make sure you don't buy in the store.

My Garmin Nuvi 350 got me to and from a family reunion - CA to TX to IN. It even saved me from getting lost when the freeway exit for my motel in Tuscon was closed! Woo-hoo!
Once in a while, I knew the street or highway I wanted, which wasn't the one it showed, but it "recalculated" and we always ended up at the correct address.
I really appreciated two things: the very clear audible directions, and being able to glance at the map quickly to get my bearings.
