Magellan Sportrak Map

I recently was cachin' and had my Magellan Sportrak Map sitting on my dash. It was hot so the window was down and one sharp corner later the unit slide right out the window. I was doing About 20 around the corner. It hit the pavement, slide onto the other side of the road and a truck that was pulling up to the stop sign ran it over.
I think he just hit the edge of it but I know both sets of tires made contact with it. I quickly pulled over and ran to retrieve my unit. It was a bit scratched up and part of the rubber on the back is tore up but the unit is still working just fine. I did however gain a blank line through the screen but its still usable. I jumped back in the van and off I went to the next cache.
I definitely recommend this GPS. Its my second Magellan and the second to survive a fall from a vehicle. The first one I left one the roof and it fell off at about 45 miles an hour. Still worked just fine and I later sold it to upgrade to the Sportrak Map. Thanx for a tough GPS. Jason
