Nextar X4-T Disappointment

My wife bought this unit and initially I was impressed with it. The screen is large and bright, the menus are easy to navigate and use, and the voice is clear and loud.

However, I am returning it for a refund, the second time. Twice now the automobile power unit has died on me. The first one lasted all of 2 weeks, I exchanged the entire box at K-Mart for a new one, and the plug disintegrated on the Jeeps power outlet again, this time, only on the second use. I had to fish the tip of the adapter out of the outlet with a pair of needle nosed pliers, and after trying to reassemble it, I saw some pieces were missing.

In the future, I may try Nextar again, as I said, the unit itself I was quite happy with. But until they get the accessories up to the same level, I recommend passing it over.
